The CIVITAS Forum is coming to Greece for the first time!
A historic moment for everyone involved in urban mobility and working to promote sustainable mobility in Greece.
A three-day international conference organised by the world’s largest network of cities for sustainable mobility, under the auspices of the European Union (DG MOVE).
The event will take place in English from 15–17 September at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall and venues of the Municipality of Thessaloniki. It is co-organised by the CIVITAS community, the Municipality of Thessaloniki and CERTH. More information about the programme and opportunities for active participation can be found here.
A key contributor to the conference will be the CIVITAS national network, CIVINET Greece-Cyprus, through a range of activities, including an entire conference day dedicated to Greek local government. The event will take place on Monday, 14 September, at Thessaloniki City Hall, with Greek as the main working language, and will focus on the achievements and challenges faced by Greek local authorities, as well as the solutions proposed by the Greek market.
