• Overseeing and managing urban regeneration projects and initiatives within a city or municipality. Urban regeneration refers to the process of revitalizing and redeveloping urban areas that may be experiencing decline, underinvestment, or other challenges and transforming these areas into vibrant, sustainable, and livable environments.
• Leading, coordinating, and implementing strategies, policies, and projects that enhance the resilience of a municipality or city to various challenges, such as climate change, natural disasters, economic disruptions, and social inequalities.
• Ensuring that cities and towns can adapt to emerging threats and continue to thrive despite changing conditions, thereby improving the overall quality of life for residents.
• Managing, coordinating, and overseeing the implementation of European Union-funded projects and programs at the municipal (city or town) level.
• Supporting local initiatives in areas such as stakeholders' engagement, infrastructure, innovation, social inclusion, environmental sustainability, culture, and education.
• Ensuring compliance with the EU's stringent regulations, financial rules, and reporting requirements.
