Who we are
CIVINET CY-EL is the network of local public authorities of Greece and Cyprus, which is dedicated to promoting sustainable mobility in the two Greek-speaking countries, under the auspices of the CIVITAS initiative and the ELTIS platform. CIVINET CY-EL is run by “CIVINET CY-EL Secretariat”, a non-profit organisation, responsible for the financial management, coordination and administration of the Network and its supporting structures (Committees & Working Groups), alongside all of the activities performed.
Our role
The role of CIVINET CY-EL Network is to help raise awareness of citizens, policy makers and political members/stakeholders about sustainable mobility and focus its activities on building capacity through education and specialized training for employees that are occupied in both public and private sector. It provides support to members of the network on raising funding tools as well as to funding institutions on creating specialized financial programmes/instruments. CIVINET CΥ-EL specializes in providing consultancy on the suitable adaptation of legal frameworks to relevant ministries and the promotion of municipalities’ needs and achievements in the national and European level.

Project Manager of INCIRCLE project (Interreg MED Programme)
Your role
As a Project Manager of INCIRCLE project (Interreg MED Programme) of the Organisation, you will coordinate, manage and monitor the implementation of project activities in which the Organisation is involved. You will have to collaborate with other employees of the Organisation who work in the project and your responsibility will be to guide them in performing project activities according to the set work plan and time plan. You will have to ensure the successful development and the on-time delivery of the deliverables for which the Organisation is responsible, while you will have to provide requested contribution to other deliverables according to the project needs. You will be required to have smooth communication with the project Lead Partner, the INCIRCLE partnership, the Associated Partners and when needed with other bodies such as the JS of the Interreg MED Programme, the Horizontal Project, the auditors, etc.
Job Description
- EU Project Management, including project coordination
- Communication with project partners and funding authorities, organisation and attendance of project meetings, financial management, etc.
- Full production or finalisation of deliverables (e.g. studies, reports, publications, articles, training material, dissemination material, event organisation etc.)
- Coordination and supervision of the collection and analysis processes regarding quantitative and qualitative data
- Representation of the project team of the Organisation in project meetings and international events (conferences, forums etc.)
- Networking and promotion in benefit of the INCIRCLE project in international events, as well as in everyday life
Requirements
- University degree in related fields
- Demonstrated experience (at least 5 years) in participating in or managing EU projects
- Fluent oral and writing English skills
- Strong Computer literacy
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Availability for often trips by airplane in European Union (mostly)
Qualifications preferred
- MSc degree
- Large experience in stakeholder management, and comfortable collaborating widely at various levels.
- Demonstrated experience with agile development and lean practices
- Knowledge of another EU language, such as German or French, is preferred

- Creative, analytical, and organisational skills
- Strong communication skills (written and oral)
- High commitment in respecting working deadlines.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
