Moniek Jansen is a dedicated Sustainable Mobility Consultant with a passion for fostering active mobility and child-friendly streets. Moniek is originally from The Netherlands, but has been living in Piraeus, Greece, for the past two years. Specializing in safe ways to school for children, Moniek has organized workshops and seminars, implementing tactical urbanism pilots and developed Master Plans to address this vital issue in several contexts (e.g. the Netherlands, Lisbon, Dublin, the USA and Batumi). With a mission to create livable and safe urban areas, Moniek is committed to returning the streets back to the people, ensuring a brighter, healthier and more sustainable future for communities worldwide, particularly for children.
