Dr. Poupkou is a Physicist, with a Master Degree in Environmental Physics and PhD studies in Atmospheric Physics at the Physics Department of AUTH. She has many years of experience in the fields of air quality modeling and assessment, in source apportionment of atmospheric emissions, in the analysis of atmospheric processes and in the modeling of anthropogenic and natural pollutant emissions. He has 52 publications in peer-reviewed international journals and 57 publications in international conference proceedings. He has participated in more than 40 competitive research projects (FP6, FP7, Horizon2020, ETC, ESA and National). She is a Researcher at the Research Centre for Atmospheric Physics and Climatology of the Academy of Athens.
