CIVINET Greece-Cyprus Network is seeking for experienced, enthusiastic, and well-balanced professionals for the Urban Transports Project (Interreg MED) for the positions of:
a) Technical Consultant
b) Communication Expert
Location: Athens, Greece (but you could work from distance)
Who we are
CIVINET Greece-Cyprus is the network of local public authorities of Greece and Cyprus, which is dedicated to promoting sustainable mobility in the two Greek-speaking countries, under the auspices of the CIVITAS initiative and the ELTIS platform. CIVINET Greece-Cyprus is run by “CIVINET CY-EL Secretariat”, a non-profit organisation, responsible for the financial management, coordination and administration of the Network and its supporting structures (Committees & Working Groups), alongside all the activities performed.
Our role
The role of CIVINET Greece-Cyprus Network is to help raise awareness of citizens, policy makers and political members/stakeholders about sustainable mobility and focus its activities on building capacity through education and specialized training for employees that are occupied in both public and private sector. It provides support to members of the network on raising funding tools as well as to funding institutions on creating specialized financial programmes/instruments. CIVINET Greece-Cyprus specializes in providing consultancy on the suitable adaptation of legal frameworks to relevant ministries and the promotion of municipalities’ needs and achievements in the national and European level.
Technical Consultant
Your role
As a Technical Consultant of the Urban Transports Project (Interreg MED), you will support the implementation of technical activities of the project, regarding the final deliverables of the Project and especially the organisation and implementation of the final conference of the project during 25-26 Oct. 2022. You will be required to communicate and collaborate with all the partners of the project following the instructions of the Project Manager. You will have the responsibility of contributing to the development of technical deliverables and reporting the technical activities following the Interreg MED guidelines and reporting procedures.
Job Description
- Communication and collaboration with the project partners at regular basis
- Communication with Lead partner and project partners, attendance of project meetings and technical meetings
- Full production or finalisation of technical deliverables (e.g., studies, reports, publications, articles, training material, etc.)
- Coordination and supervision of the collection and analysis processes regarding quantitative and qualitative data
- Representation of the project team or/and the Organisation in project meetings and international events (conferences, forums etc.)
Requirements
- University degree in engineering or related fields
- Demonstrated experience in participating to projects related to mobility
- Fluent oral and writing English skills
- Strong Computer literacy
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
Qualifications preferred
- MSc or PhD degree in related fields, especially Transport and Mobility
Personal Skills
- Creative, analytical, and organisational skills
- Strong communication skills (written and oral)
- High commitment in respecting working deadlines.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

Communication Expert
Your role
As a Communication Expert for the Urban Transports Project (Interreg MED), you will support the implementation of the communication activities of the project and especially those who are related to the final conference of the project during 25-26 Oct. 2022. You will be required to communicate and collaborate with all the partners of the project following the instructions of the Project Manager.
Job Description
- Communication and collaboration with the project partners at regular basis, attendance of project meetings
- Communication with the contributors and the participants of the final conference
- Communication with journalists, mass media, national and EU stakeholders
- Contribution to the production of the communication materials (printed and digital)
- Full implementation of any communication or organisational activity related to the final conference
- Representation of the project team or/and the Organisation in project meetings

- University degree in communication or related fields
- Demonstrated experience in relative activities
- Fluent oral and writing English skills
- Strong Computer literacy
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
